Welcome to the Georgia District. Message from the District Director

In the spirit of our beloved Seven Jewels, who conceived the fraternal idea, and dared to make it work; to my Brothers, wearers of the Black and Old Gold, strong of heart, noble in their purpose and sincere in their dedication to the mission and aims of our beloved Alpha Phi Alpha.

Greetings and Welcome to the Online Home of the Georgia District Association,

Since 1906, Alpha Phi Alpha has served as the supply chain that has provided our communities with voice, vision and leadership. Since 1948, the Southern Region has worked hard to uphold the principles upon which the fraternity was founded and move forward the Alpha agenda of leadership and service. Since 1956, the Georgia District has been dedicated to Alpha’s mission of developing leaders, promoting academic excellence, providing service and advocacy to our communities.

We pray that your visit to our website will educate you and provide needed information in regards to the programs, projects, events and leadership of the Georgia District, often referred to as the “Jewel” of Alpha South in particular and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in general. For 55 years, our motto has been “excellence is our standard, not our goal”, and we have been successful because we understand that greatness is a journey, not a destination.
